The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation today approved a rate reduction of 8.6 percent for private employers. The bureau says the price cut will go into effect July 1.
The Bureau says the rate cut will save private companies about $113 million next year.
The head of the Bureau says private and public employers have saved $4.3 billion dollars in cuts during the past five years.
The bureau cites lower than expected costs and a reduction workplace injuries.
