Memorial Service To Honor Congressman Oxley

BakerHostetler

Three Republicans in Ohio's congressional delegation are among those expected to speak at a memorial service for former Ohio congressman Mike Oxley, who died on Jan. 1.

The service is set for Friday afternoon in Oxley's hometown of Findlay.

Ohio congressmen Bob Latta and Pat Tiberi along with U.S. Sen. Rob Portman are scheduled to give remarks.

Oxley died at age 71 in northern Virginia after suffering from a type of lung cancer seen in nonsmokers.

He spent 25 years in Congress, where he devoted most of his time to issues involving corporate oversight and insurance protection.
