The owner of several Mexican grocery stores in Columbus has been sentenced to more than five years in prison and ordered to pay more than a million dollars in back taxes.
Liborio Alcauter admitted to knowingly employing more than 200 undocumented immigrants who didn’t pay taxes.
Alcauter originally faced several charges related to selling drugs, but those charges were dropped.
