Judges in northeast Ohio say they're leaving a justice reform group in Cuyahoga County.
Common pleas judges in the county voted Wednesday to resign from the Justice System Reform Group.
The judges say in a news release that they believe the group has become a "vehicle for a minority" of some members to push an agenda at the expense of input from others.
The move comes after an effort by the county's prosecutor to deal with criminal cases more swiftly and a proposal from the county executive to reform how low-level cases move through the municipal courts.
County Executive Armond Budish says the group has developed proposals to deal with reforms through discussions with the courts.
