City leaders in Grandview Heights are expected to revise an ordinance criminalizing the possession of cigarettes and other tobacco products by anyone younger than 21.

The city council approved the ordinance last month, but Mayor Ray DeGraw says cracking down on 18-to-20 year olds would be problematic since Grandview is surrounded by cities with differing laws.

DeGraw is expected to present a revised ordinance at a meeting in two weeks.
