Secretary of State Jon Husted is preparing to announce details of a new partnership with Google designed to benefit Ohio entrepreneurs.

Husted and the technology giant's representative for the Midwest plan to explain the arrangement at a news conference Thursday.

They plan to discuss free tools that are being made available to help start-ups.

Husted's office oversees elections as well as state business filings. He plans to provide an update Thursday on an initiative that reduces by 21 percent the costs associated with starting a new business in Ohio.
