Sunday was a violent day in Columbus, with police reporting three separate fatal shootings.
Police say Jaron Valentine was fatally shot while sitting in a car outside a Hudson Street carryout. Earlier in the day Tashia Taylor was fatally shot on East 5th Avenue. Police say her boyfriend later confessed.
Franklin County Sheriff’s office detectives had few details to share about a homicide on Genessee Avenue, other than saying a male died after suffering several gunshot wounds.
