Houses and condos in Central Ohio sold at a brisk pace in May.
Columbus Realtors reports nearly 3 thousand units changed hands last month, that's nearly an 18 percent increase over April.
It's 8 percent more than were sold during the same period last year.
Columbus Realtors says the median sale price in May was nearly $170,000.
That's nearly a 10 percent increase over last year.
The realtor's group says the market is likely to be very active with home prices increasing during the next year.
