A Columbus based airline today changed top leadership. The  new leadership at NetJets will have to address a labor dispute.

NetJets chairman and Chief Executive, Jordan Hansell, abruptly stepped down. The company sells partial ownership interests in business jets. Hansell's departure occurs in the midst of a bitter contract dispute with NetJets pilots.  The company quickly announced longtime executives Adam Johnson and Bill Noe will now lead the company.

Since 2013, the company and its pilots union have been unable to reach a new contract agreement. The dispute is being litigated in federal court.  Pilots union president Pedro Leroux welcomed the announced changes saying the transition is an "opportunity"  to restore trust in employees.  The union represents 2,700 airline pilots

NetJets is owned by Warren Buffett's conglomerate, Berkshire Hathaway.
