Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream says it will reopen its scoop shops by May 22.
The popular Columbus-based ice cream company shut down April 23 after a pint of its ice cream tested positive for listeria.
Jeni's has since recalled and recycled more than 500,000 pounds of product at a cost of $2.5 million.
The company has also redesigned its production kitchen and is set to resume production this week.
The source of listeria was determined to be the spout of a machine that fills pints for retail sale.
