Schools Close Again Friday For Subzero Temperatures

Many schools around Ohio are playing it safe again with dangerous wind chills expected. School districts across the state, including the Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati city schools, decided to close again Friday as frigid temperatures linger. Wind chills of 25 below zero were predicted for many parts of the state early Friday, with some actual lows also below the zero mark. Some Ohio colleges called off morning classes, and county government buildings in Cuyahoga County also are shut. Ohio State University is open Friday. Highs Friday are expected to be reach only the teens before a slight warm-up this weekend, with highs back up in the 20s and 30s. But winter isn't about to let up. Snow is predicted again Saturday in much of the state, followed by a dip in temperatures again next week.
