Central Ohio Man Charged In Death Of 3-Year-Old Girl

Police in central Ohio say a 3-year-old child has died and the man who was caring for her is charged with murder. Columbus police say Aiyanna Thompson was taken to a hospital with injuries on Saturday after what they say was an assault by 24-year-old Tyson Reliford, who was caring for the child while her mother was at work. He was arrested Sunday after barricading himself in an apartment. The child died on Monday, police say, and Reliford was charged with murder. He was in jail, with no attorney information available. A $3 million bond was set for him during a court appearance Monday morning, before the child died.
