Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted, who was inaugurated Monday for a second term, encouraged those attending his swearing-in to support the overhaul. Husted sought changes to the so-called redistricting process for at least a decade. Last month, the Legislature passed a bipartisan plan that will go before voters this fall. Auditor Dave Yost was also sworn in Monday for a second term, with Treasurer John Mandel scheduled to be sworn in for a second term later Monday. Attorney General Mike DeWine took his oath of office on Sunday. Gov. John Kasich began his second term with a formal swearing-in at midnight.
