County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien Says He Might Run For Mayor

Since long-time Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman announced he will not seek a fifth term, two people have announced their candidacy for the post. Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien says he's received multiple calls about a potential run for the office. He says he hasn't made a decision yet. "I, however, told some folks that have an interest in it that I would listen to any entreaties or presentations they might have. OK. You're not ruling it out? No, I wasn't ruling it out," O'Brien said. O'Brien says he will decide by the first of the year whether to run. Columbus City Council president Andrew Ginther and Franklin County Sheriff Zach Scott have thrown their hats into the ring
