New Charges In Drug, Gun Case In Columbus

State and federal authorities are announcing new charges in an investigation into gang-related homicides and drug dealing dating back a decade. The U.S. Attorney's Office says the charges are connected to alleged crimes including murder, attempted murder, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, extortion and robbery committed in central Ohio between 2005 and 2014. Investigators planned to discuss details of the new charges Tuesday afternoon. The defendants are accused of being members of the Short North Posse, an alleged gang with 2-decade-old roots in and around Columbus.
