Central Ohio Man Dies After Being Hit By Car

Police in Columbus say a man injured by a late-night hit-and-run driver earlier this month has died. Police are looking for the driver who hit 54-year-old Ronald Willis as he walked near an Interstate 270 exit ramp on Oct. 2, and then kept going. Police said Willis died Monday night at a hospital. A report said Willis was walking east on Broad Street at about 3:45 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle that apparently went out of control as it exited I-270. The vehicle went into the grass, and then back on the roadway before it struck Willis.
