The two-week-old strike by Reynoldsburgs public school teachers could soon come to an end. In talks that lasted more than eight hours Wednesday the two sides negotiated with the aid of a federal mediator. At around 9 Wednesday evening, cheers erupted outside the mediators offices on news that a tentative agreement had been reached. A vote by teachers is scheduled for Thursday morning. If the proposal wins their approval, the school board would then need to ratify the contract. The Reynoldsburg teachers strike began September 19th after talks broke down following five months of discussions.
