Drones or whats also known as U.A.V.s- unmanned aerial vehicles are getting more attention, while they wait further approval from the Federal Aviation Administration. Sometimes the attention is negative. Recently, a UAV forced a medical helicopter in Miami Valley to postpone its landing when the unmanned vehicle got too close to a hospital. City leaders in Springfield though see the UAVs as economic opportunities. Thats why they are partnering with the Ohio/Indiana Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center and the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport.
