A 20-year-old central Ohio woman has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges in a weekend crash that left a motorcyclist dead and his 7-year-old passenger with serious injuries. Police say Devin Downour of Rushville failed to stop at a red light in Lancaster, southeast of Columbus, and hit a Honda Shadow motorcycle on Saturday night. Sixty-three-year-old James Lowe Jr. was killed. His passenger, 7-year-old Hailey Derbyshire, was in critical condition Monday at a Columbus hospital. Both were wearing helmets. The Lancaster Eagle-Gazette reports that Downour was arraigned Monday on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault. Her attorney information wasn't available. Police said after hitting the motorcycle, Downour's car continued through the intersection and hit another car head-on, causing minor injuries to its occupants.
