Columbus 'Nuisance' Motel Coming Down

Demolition crews are taking down a nuisance motel on East Main Street. Motel One was closed two years ago after being identified as a crime magnet. nearby resident Rick Nichols welcomes the demolition. "I think it would a good thing. Yeah, I think it would be a good thing as long as they keep it cleaned up around here. Stop all the activity around here," says Nichols. The city took the property owner to environmental court to clear the way for demolition after numerous reports of drug activity and prostitution.
