Reynoldsburg Teachers Overwhelmingly Reject Board Offer

Reynoldsburg Teachers voted to reject the latest contract offer from Reynoldsburg school board by a 97 to 3 percent margin. The two sides have been negotiating since May. A previous contract expired July 31st. The board has hired a firm to recruit substitute teachers in case of a strike. The unionized teachers have authorized their leaders to call a strike but no strike notice has been given. Teachers are back in the classroom this morning working under terms of the expired contract.
