Worthington Council Approves Guidelines For 41-Acre Property

The city council in Worthington has approved development guidelines for the 41-acre property that once held the United Methodist Children’s Home. The property is considered prime real estate that sits between downtown Worthington and Interstate 270. It’s been a year since the city started hosting public hearings and reviewing plans from a consultant. The property’s owner can now begin working with developers. The property is expected to be a mix of office, retail and living space.
