Former OSU Star, Greg Oden, Arrested For Punching A Woman

The seven-foot star who led Ohio State to the 2007 NCAA championship game was in jail this morning after allegedly punching a woman in his home state. Greg Oden was booked in the Marion County Jail this morning in Indiana on two counts of battery. A police report says officers responded to Oden's mother's house and "observed blood, swelling to the nose, lacerations to the forehead and nose area of the victim's face." Police say the woman was initially uncooperative. Oden reportedly told police "I was wrong, and I know what has to happen" just before being arrested.
