Police: Car That Hit Bus Was Stolen, Going Wrong Way

Authorities say a car that collided with a Greyhound bus on an Indiana highway had been stolen and was traveling the wrong way. Wayne County Sheriff Jeff Cappa says Phillip Lloyd, who was driving the stolen Ford Mustang, died in the Sunday morning crash on Interstate 70 near Richmond. Lloyd was from Richmond, which is near the Ohio border. Cappa says 19 people on the bus were injured. Most were treated for scrapes, cuts and bruises at a Richmond hospital, but a dispatcher says the bus driver had to be airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. A Greyhound spokeswoman says the bus was carrying 23 passengers and the driver. She says the bus was traveling from St. Louis to Dayton, Ohio, and ultimately to New York City.
