Columbus Man Faces Death Penalty In Stabbing Death

A Franklin County grand jury has returned a death penalty indictment against a man accused of killing an elderly East Side woman. 58-year-old William Dumas, Jr. is charged in the April stabbing death of 89-year-old Anna Eblen. Dumas' sister lives on East 12th Avenue next door to Eblen's home. Prosecutors say Eblen was killed during an attempted robbery.
