Harris, Others Subpoenaed In Attendance Rigging Probe

The Ohio Department of Education has subpoenaed records on former Columbus City Schools superintendent Gene Harris. The subpoenas issued on Monday name Harris and 60 current and former district employees. They come about a week after state education officials said about 60 district educators could have their teaching licenses revoked for their alleged roles in the district’s attendance rigging scandal. Several administrators and principals have already resigned or been fired over wide-spread record changing.
