Ohio Students Travel South For 50th Anniversary Of Freedom Summer

A group of Ohio students will be travelling to Mississippi to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the historic Mississippi Freedom Summer. The Ohio Student Association will join other organizations next week as they work to preserve and strengthen voting rights in the country. James Hayes is a member of the Ohio Student Association who will be traveling with the group to Jackson, Mississippi. Fifteen college students from Columbus will be part of a group of 50 from Ohio that will travel to Jackson, Mississippi.
