Poll: Voters Skeptical Of Proposed Zoo Levy

A new poll says Franklin County voters are leaning away from the Columbus Zoo levy on next week’s ballot. The poll from Survey USA commissioned by WCMH says 56 percent of likely Franklin County voters plan to vote “noâ€?, while 36 percent say they support the levy. The poll shows more support for the levy in Delaware County. That’s where the zoo is located, although it’s funded with Franklin County property taxes. The permanent levy would mean $44 in taxes a year on a $100,000 home.
