Jackets Out Of Playoffs After Failed Comeback Attempt

The Columbus Blue Jackets nearly completed another improbable comeback, but it fell just short last night. And with the loss, the Blue Jackets are out of the playoffs after six games. The Pittsburgh Penguins clinched the first-round series against the Blue Jackets with a 4-3 win last night. The Blue Jackets scored three times in a 4:52 span in the third period to turn up the pressure, but it wasn't enough. "It's a credit to our guys," said head coach Todd Richards about the comeback attempt. "The support we all got from the fans says a lot," Richards added. Pittsburgh will face the winner of the New York-Philadelphia series. Click the play button above to hear more details from WOSU's Thomas Bradley.
