Bond Set At $2 Million In Columbus Bus Stop Rape Case

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A judge has set a $2 million bond for a man accused of raping a 13-year-old Columbus girl while she waited for a school bus. Defendant Antonio Fillmore was arrested based on a DNA match. Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Scott VanDerKarr set bond for the 36-year-old Fillmore at a hearing Friday. Fillmore was not required to enter a plea and was assigned a public defender. Columbus police say the girl was waiting alone at a bus stop Tuesday morning when a man walked up to her, struck up a conversation, then forced the girl behind a vacant house where she was raped. A message was left with the public defender's office Friday.
