Police Officer Found Dead In Department Building

Columbus police are investigating a fatal shooting in the department's property room that apparently was self-inflicted. Fraternal Order of Police President Jason Pappas says an officer took his own life on Sunday. Medics arrived at the property room in South Columbus around 5:20 p.m. The name of the officer has not been released.
