The Ohio Ethics Commission says thereâs no conflict of interest by Governor John Kasich after revelations that the stateâs job creation board sent hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax breaks to two subsidiaries of a company whose board Kasich served on for a decade. The state panel says thereâs no conflict of interest connected to the deferred payment Kasich received from Worthington Industries because he was getting money for work he had performed for the company before taking office.
