Parents Wanted In Child's Death Turn Themselves In

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a couple wanted on charges related to the death of their 16-month-old daughter has turned themselves in. Michael Wilder, 29, and Greta Sahatciu, 23, reportedly turned themselves in to authorities late Tuesday. They're each charged with a felony count of endangering children, and Wilder faces an additional charge of involuntary manslaughter. Deputies said Maiya Wilder was unresponsive when her father rushed her to a Columbus hospital on June 29. She died two days later. Detectives said they determined that the toddler was left unattended for 10 hours in a bedroom with a space heater on. The couple's other two children remain in the custody of social services.
