The Central Ohio job market continues to outperform most of the state. Figures released by the state today show Franklin County with a non-seasonally adjusted April unemployment rate of 5.7 percent. That was good enough for tenth-lowest in the state and down from 6.1 percent the previous month. Western Ohioâs Mercer county once again had Ohioâs lowest jobless rate at 4.1 percent, with Delaware and Union counties close behind. Southern Ohioâs Pike county had the highest April jobless rate at 12.1 percent.
