State Investigators: DNA Shows Castro Fathered Girl

State investigators says DNA testing confirms the man charged with kidnapping and raping three women he held captive for a decade is the father of a six-year-old girl found inside the home. The Ohio Attorney General’s Office says forensic scientists worked through the night to confirm Ariel Castro fathered the six-year-old girl born in captivity. Investigators also say Castro’s DNA did NOT match any samples in a statewide database. Results from a comparison to nationwide DNA samples are pending.
