Ohio Launches New Online Voter Search Tool

Ohio's secretary of state says a new online search tool will help Ohioans to more easily check their voter registration information. Secretary of State Jon Husted on Friday announced the launch of the new tool that will mean Ohioans no longer will have to use two separate online tools to search the MyOhioVote.com site. Also, voters now need only provide their first name, last name and county to gain access to the online site rather than inputting information into several fields. Voters will be able to see their voting address, legislative districts, polling place and precinct once they are in the system. The deadline to update voter information or register to vote in time to participate in the upcoming May 7th primary is Monday, April 8.
