OSU Students Returning To Dorms After Water Leak

The Ohio State University campus is returning to normal after a water leak forced nearly 2,000 OSU students out of their dorm rooms late Sunday. The leak happened in the recently-renovated South Campus dorms. OSU spokesman Jim Lynch says crews were working overnight to repair an underground water-line failure. Lynch says people living in Baker Hall East and West were able to return to their residence hall beginning at 7 a.m. Monday. The Ohio Union also reopened at 7. Lynch says Park-Stradley Hall is still inaccessible for normal living accommodations. Students are permitted to retrieve personal items from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. University staff are recommending that the 1,200 students retrieve enough clothing and items for at least two days. Displaced students are allowed to sleep and shower at OSU's Recreation and Physical Activities Center (RPAC).
