State Lawmakers Approve Pension Changes

Starting in January, some Ohio teachers, police officers, firefighters, and other government workers who retire will face higher costs and lower benefits than they’ve been expecting. That’s because of action yesterday by Ohio lawmakers, who gave final approval to bills that will phase in big changes in Ohio’s five pension systems.
