GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is taking criticism for a rally at an eastern Ohio coal mine earlier this month. Some miners from the facility in Bealesville went on a West Virginia radio station to say they lost a dayâs pay because the mine was shut down and they feared they'd be fired if they didn't attend. A spokesperson for the mineâs parent company Murray Energy says the mine was shut down at the request of the Secret Service and attendance at the rally was purely voluntary.
