Knox County Toddler Shot In The Head

A 3-year-old Knox county boy was listed in critical condition after shooting himself in the head yesterday. The shooting happened late yesterday at a house northwest of Mount Vernon. The boy's grandfather, parents and two younger siblings were at home when it happened. Family members say the gun was sitting on top of a television. A captain at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office called the shooting an "unfortunate accident."
