Ohio's first casino has opened with a glitzy music video instead of a traditional ribbon cutting. The video was projected on the facade of the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland and used images from the city's history, sports teams and tourist attractions. The final scene showed the curtain opening to the casino. The twilight ceremony Monday evening capped a VIP reception in a tent outside the casino. The weather was Chamber of Commerce-perfect: 60 degrees under nearly cloudless skies. The casino has about 2,100 slot machines, 63 table games, a 30-table World Series of Poker room and a VIP lounge. The casino expects 5,000,000 visitors a year. Casinos open in two weeks in Toledo and by next year in Cincinnati and Columbus.
