Parole Board Votes Against Clemency For Convicted Child Killer

The Ohio Parole Board has rejected mercy for a condemned killer who says new forensic science proves he did not kill his son in a house fire. 63-year-old Michael Webb says new findings should be enough to give him a new trial 22 years after being convicted of murdering his son near Cincinnati. Prosecutors argued and the Parole Board agreed that there's not enough doubt to warrant clemency or a new trial. Governor John Kasich will have the final say on whether to spare Webb's life, although Webb's execution and all others are on hold because of a lawsuit over Ohio's execution policies.
