Year In Review: Ohio's Budget Battle

As 2011 dawned, Ohio legislators were facing what was called the biggest state budget crisis in more than a half century. $8 billion in one-time money was about to evaporate, and lawmakers had to fashion a new two-year state budget with the projected money that would be left. In the first part of our year-in-review series, statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reminds us what a turbulent year it was on ohio’s budget front.
