Columbus police arrested seven Occupy protesters Tuesday after refusing to leave a bank. Columbus police Sgt. Rich Weiner says the group took their protest and chanting into a Fifth Third branch and a U.S. Bank branch, where they were arrested. Police say security asked protesters to leave, and those who refused were arrested on misdemeanor criminal trespassing charges. Tuesday night in Cincinnati, the Rev. Jesse Jackson joined demonstrators to protest the recent clearing out of Occupy camps in New York and other cities. About 200 people gathered to listen to Jackson in Piatt Park. The political activist told demonstrators that they "occupy the conscience of a nation." The group has continued nightly meetings at the park and filed a federal lawsuit last month against the city, alleging violation of constitutional rights to free speech and assembly.
