AFL-CIO Rallies Against Issue 2

Members of the Cincinnati AFL-CIO used yesterday's Labor Day holiday to rally opposition to Issue 2, the fall referendum on Senate Bill 5 where a "no" vote means repealing the law. Also at the Cincinnati event was Vice President Joe Biden, who called Senate Bill 5 a fight that goes to the heart of the labor movement. "The other side has declared war on labor’s house and it’s about time we stand up, and understand it for what it is.â€? Vice President Biden called SB5 a scam. Governor Kasich and Republican lawmakers say it will give state and local governments more flexibility.
