A Franklin County grand jury has indicted an Indiana man on charges of illegally dumping more than 20,000 cubic yards of waste in Southwest Columbus. Police say Richard Fintak used a secluded area just off Harrisburg Pike to dump massive amounts of trash, construction debris and other materials. The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio estimates it will take about $300,000 to clean up the site. Fintak was arrested in Indiana and transported back to Columbus. The charges carry up to four years in prison and $75,000 in fines.
