No Progress in "Meeting" On Senate Bill 5

It’s looking less and less likely that top-ranking Ohio Republicans will be able to reach a compromise with union leaders ahead of a fall referendum on Senate Bill 5. Leaders of the “We Are Ohioâ€? campaign said they would not meet with Governor John Kasich or other GOP leaders until after the law was repealed. But the Governor and other still called a meeting Friday morning and criticized union leaders for not showing up. The measure signed into law earlier this year restricts collective bargaining rights for about 350,000 public employees in Ohio.
