Pryor Ruled Eligible For NFL Supplemental Draft

Former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor has been declared eligible for Monday's NFL supplemental draft, but must sit out the first five games after he signs a contract. That's the same suspension Pryor would have faced in his senior season at OSU. Pryor gave up his final season with the Buckeyes following an NCAA investigation into the football team's memorabilia-for-tattoo scandal. His eligibility for the supplemental draft was held up because when he left school he had not been ruled permanently ineligible. That’s normally a requirement for a player to enter the supplemental draft. In the draft, teams essentially bid on a player. The team that offers the lowest draft pick will acquire Pryor but will have to give up the corresponding pick in next year's regular draft.
