Gas Leak Forces Westerville Evacuations

Several businesses in Westerville had to be evacuated this morning after road crews ruptured a gas line. The incident happened at the intersection of Huber Village Boulevard and South Street. Mike Parsley manages Captive Air. He says the fire department gave him few details when they told him to evacuate around 11:30 Thursday morning. He says there was a strong smell of gas outside his building. Parsley says the fire department told him he could likely return later in the afternoon. No injuries were reporter.
