An Ohio State University student is scheduled to plead guilty today to charges of emailing a fake bomb threat that closed several OSU buildings and disrupted much of the campus last year. The FBI says 24-year-old Jonathan Birkemeyer of Xenia used a stolen computer to email the fake threat last November. Indictments say Birkemeyer told the FBI he found a map detailing the location of nine bombs made from an explosive powder that were hidden in the door jams of the main library and several OSU laboratories. The threat triggered an alert to tens of thousands of students, staff and faculty and locked down much of the campus, but an intense search of the area didn't yield any results. The charges carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
